§ 19.42.010. Hearings.

  • (a)

    Commission hearings as provided in this title shall be conducted before the commission. The commission may establish its own rules for the conduct of public hearings and the members of the commission presiding at the hearing are empowered to administer oaths to any person testifying before it.

    (b)

    Summary of all pertinent testimony offered at public hearings and the names of persons testifying shall be recorded and made a part of the permanent minutes of the commission.

    (c)

    If, for any reason, testimony on any item set for a public hearing cannot be completed on the day set for the hearing, the commissioner presiding at the public hearing may, before the adjournment or recess thereof, publicly announce the time and place at which the hearing will be continued and the announcement shall serve as sufficient notice of the continuance and without further recourse to the form of public notice as provided for in this title.
